Örjan Hultén – Peaceful Warrior
The acclaimed Swedish jazz saxophonist Örjan Hultén now presents his new band and fifteenth album. Peaceful Warrior features newly composed music for the quartet by Örjan Hultén. The music can be described as poetic, lyrical, and free. Two of the tracks feature singer Isabella Lundgren, who performs the poem “Please call me by my true names” by Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Shirley Horn’s ballad “Where are you going?”
